QR Code Analytics just got a whole lot more powerful! 📊🎉
We're excited to introduce Advanced QR Code Analytics, giving users deeper insights into who's scanning their QR Codes, where those scans are coming from, and which devices and browsers are being used.
Previously, QR Code Analytics was limited to Total Scans and Unique Scans. We're now taking that experience to the next level with Device, Browser, and Geographic Analytics, helping users better understand their audience and measure QR Code performance like never before! ✨
🆕 What's New?
📱 1. Device-Level Analytics — Know How Your Audience Scans!
Until now, users could track how many times their QR Codes were scanned, but had limited visibility into the devices being used.
That's changing! 🚀
With Device-Level Analytics, users can now understand the types of devices their audience uses to scan their QR Codes.
Here's what's new:
- 📱 Device Breakdown: View QR Code scan data categorized by device type.
- 📊 Audience Insights: Understand how scans are distributed across different devices.
- 🎯 Better Optimization: Use device-level insights to optimize landing pages and experiences for your audience.
For example, if most of your QR Code scans are coming from mobile devices, you can prioritize optimizing the mobile experience of your destination pages.
🌐 2. Browser-Level Analytics — Understand Your Audience's Browsing Preferences!
We're also introducing Browser-Level Analytics, giving users visibility into which browsers are being used when people scan their QR Codes.
What can users now see?
- 🌍 Browser Breakdown: View scan data categorized by browsers such as Chrome, Safari, and other supported browsers.
- 📈 Browser Usage Insights: Understand which browsers account for the most QR Code scans.
- 🛠️ Experience Optimization: Identify the browsers your audience commonly uses and ensure your destination pages provide a seamless experience.
No more guessing which browsing environments your audience is using!
📍 3. Geographic Analytics — Know Where Your Scans Are Coming From!
Here's where things get even more exciting! 🔥
We're introducing Geographic Analytics, allowing users to understand where their QR Codes are being scanned.
And we're not stopping at country-level data!
Users can now explore geographic insights across three different levels of granularity:
- 🌎 Country-Level Analytics: See which countries your QR Code scans are coming from.
- 🗺️ State-Level Analytics: Drill down further to understand scan activity across different states or regions.
- 🏙️ City-Level Analytics: Get even more granular insights into the cities generating QR Code scans.
What does this unlock?
Imagine you've distributed QR Codes across different marketing campaigns, physical locations, or promotional materials.
You can now:
- 📍 Identify High-Engagement Locations: Discover which countries, states, or cities are generating the most scans.
- 🎯 Optimize Local Campaigns: Use geographic insights to understand where your QR Code campaigns are gaining traction.
- 📊 Understand Audience Distribution: Get a clearer picture of where your QR Code engagement is coming from.
- 🚀 Make Data-Driven Decisions: Use location insights to inform future marketing and promotional strategies.
Whether you're running a local campaign or reaching a global audience, you now have the data to better understand your QR Code engagement!
🕒 4. Historical Analytics — Your Past Data Is Available Too!
And here's another important enhancement! 🙌
These advanced analytics aren't limited to newly generated QR Code scans. We're also making historical scan data available from August 28, 2024, onwards, allowing users to explore device, browser, and geographic insights for previously recorded scans.
Here's what this means:
- 📅 Historical Data Support: Access supported QR Code analytics data dating back to August 28, 2024.
- 📊 Existing QR Codes Included: Explore advanced insights for historical scans, not just new scan activity.
- 🔍 Accurate Historical Reporting: Previously recorded scan data from the supported period will be reflected accurately in the enhanced analytics experience.
The best part? You don't have to start from scratch to benefit from these new insights. Your existing QR Code scan history is part of the experience!

🎯 Why This Matters
QR Codes have become an important part of how businesses connect offline interactions with digital experiences. But knowing how many people scanned a QR Code is only part of the story. To truly understand QR Code performance, users need visibility into where their audience is coming from, which devices they're using, and how they're accessing their content. With Advanced QR Code Analytics, we're bridging that gap.
By introducing Device, Browser, and Geographic insights — along with historical data support — we're empowering users to make more informed decisions, optimize campaigns, and better understand their audience.
More Than Just Scans. Deeper Insights. Smarter Decisions. Better QR Code Analytics! 🚀
