The domain-based Company automation from Labs is now available to every sub-account. When a Contact is created or their email changes, AXCRM finds the right Company by email domain, associates the Contact, and creates and enriches the Company when none exists. No Labs toggle is needed.
Out of Labs: Available to every sub-account. Configure it in Settings > Objects > Companies, under Automations.
On by default for new agencies: Create companies from contact's email domain is turned on for new agencies. Existing agencies keep it off until an admin turns it on.
Company Domain Name field: One domain per Company, unique by default, so the same business is not created twice.
Automatic association: Contacts are linked to the Company that holds their email domain. Existing Companies without a domain are matched and reused first.
Automatic creation with enrichment: When no Company matches, a new one is created with its domain, name, and logo.
Smart exclusions: Free email providers such as Gmail and Yahoo are skipped, and admins can add their own domains to exclude.
Existing data: When you turn it on, you can fill in domains for existing Companies and apply the automation to existing Contacts.
For B2B teams, a Contact's email domain is one of the clearest signals of which Company they belong to. Company data now organizes itself as Contacts enter the CRM: fewer manual associations, fewer duplicates, and existing Companies with their deals and notes are reused instead of recreated.
Go to Settings > Objects > Companies.
Under Automations, turn on Create companies from contact's email domain (already on for new agencies), Enrich companies automatically, and Automatically prevent duplicate companies.
Add any domains to ignore under Exclude domains from automatic association.
Choose whether to fill in domains for existing Companies and apply the automation to existing Contacts, then click Save changes.
The Company automation settings in Settings > Objects > Companies.
Keep duplicate prevention on: It is the safety net for every way a Company can be created.
Fill in domains first: Run the domain fill-in before applying the automation to existing Contacts, so Contacts attach to Companies you already have.
Existing links are respected: A Contact already associated with a Company is not changed, and a domain you entered yourself is never overwritten.
Domain matching is exact: company.com and mail.company.com are treated as different domains.
