Testing a workflow just got real. You can now test a single trigger or a single action on its own, with real events from your own account, and then run the whole workflow step by step while you watch. When a test works, you know the workflow works. Test Workflow is available now in AXCRM Labs.

Test a trigger with a real event
Open the Test tab on any trigger and turn on Listen for events. Fire the trigger once, for example by submitting the form, and the real event appears within seconds.
Click Test Trigger. The event is pinned, so every action below the trigger is tested with that same data.
Earlier, the only test ran the whole workflow on a contact. Many triggers and actions have nothing to do with a contact, so for those workflows the test did not help. Now testing is event based.

Test one action at a time
The Test tab on an action shows its Input, built from the pinned event. Click Test action.
The Output shows exactly what came back, such as the message and the new record's ID. Those fields are now available to later steps.

Run the whole workflow and watch it live
Click Test workflow, pick the trigger and the event, then click Start test run.
Each step on the canvas shows Success, Failed or Skipped as it finishes. Click any step to open its Input and Output.

History and Retry run
The History tab keeps every test run, with All, Success, Failed and Skipped filters.
Retry run repeats a test with the same trigger data and the same action configuration. Fix a step, retry, done.

Open AXCRM Labs and turn on "The New Test Workflow"
Go to Automation > Workflows and open a workflow.
Click the trigger, open the Test tab, and choose Test using events.
Turn on Listen for events, then fire the trigger once.
Select the event and click Test Trigger.
Click an action, open its Test tab, and click Test action. This step is optional.
Click Test workflow, pick the trigger and the event, and click Start test run.
Review each step's result, then save and publish your workflow.

Important: Every test runs the real steps. Messages are sent, and records are created or changed. Test with your own details or a test form entry when you do not want to reach a customer.
No more guessing, no more digging through Execution Logs, no more hoping it works in production. Each step tells you on the spot whether it worked and what it produced.
Confidence to publish: You go live knowing every step already worked on real data.
Faster debugging: The failing step shows its own input and output, and one click retries the exact same run.
Good to Know
Listening lasts 15 minutes. Turn it on again if your event did not arrive in time.
Test the trigger before you test an action. An action test uses the event the trigger test pinned.
Testing is optional. You can save and publish without testing.
No real event to fire? Choose Enroll a contact to test for a contact you pick.
